The National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program, also known as Nadcap, is a cooperative organization that enforces quality standards in the aerospace and defense industries. It started as a way to consolidate the many quality standards enforced by individual companies, which were largely redundant.
If you are coming from one of the big aerospace companies or defense contractors, such as Boeing, GE, or Northrop Grumman, your company has probably had a say in the standards set by Nadcap.
